A road going to city had never been smooth in India. Pot holes, rough
surface were always there to make you realize that you are travelling
the country side. But now, time has changed and so the administrations,
cities like Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Ludhiana, Indore, Lucknow ,
Raipur, Jaipur, Panjim and Ahmadabad have witnessed huge growth in
infrastructure. Broad lanes, Shopping malls, Flyovers, Bridges all have
been constructed in these cities which have given boost to Indian
outdoor advertising industry.
These cities offers large size displays at local markets and enhances
brand’s image by connecting to local commuters in their regional
language. As per the experts, consumer living in these cities recalls a
brand mostly seen on hoardings and public transport.

Sanjeev Gupta, MD, Global Advertisers says “discerning Indian consumer
living in Tier II & Tier III cities is no more loyal to one brand.
They are open to experiment new product & services without
hesitation.Everyday they are being bombarded with tactical ads at their
door step. The most popular outdoor format includes hoardings placed at
community area, gym, market, school, cycle rickshaw and public
transport.
He further says "as an OOH media agency, we have great opportunities in
these cities as we have witnessed that large numbers of brands have
shifted their marketing focus from metro to these fast growing
cities. Therefore, industries like Telecomm, Automobile, FMCG, M&E
have assigned siginificant budget for the promotion of their product
& service
